The hip-hop music scene has always been a sort of trendsetter in the world of fashion. It could arguably be its own genre of style. Needless to say, hip-hop chic requires a certain way of carrying yourself that allows certain accessories to be fashionable. The snapback for example is a classic example of remaining stylish in a casual manner. As a result, this look is edgy and sexy.
This Fashionista was spotted wearing a Supreme snapback with some white jean cut-off shorts with stud detailing. Her choice of colors overall creating an aesthetically pleasing color palette that went perfect with the summer weather. Snapbacks do not always have to be boyish or sporty just as this Fashionista demonstrated. Her Supreme hat had an array of colors that ended up complementing the rest of her outfit. The cool thing about hats in general is that you can get away with looking accessorized and chic without having your hair look perfect. So if you don’t feel like doing your hair and want to go with a more casual look for the day, a hat would be perfect!
In addition to her hat, this Fashionista did in fact accessorize in many other ways. Her shorts went from plain white shorts to shorts with character with the addition of the studs. Free People has a rendition of studded shorts which have been a major trend this summer. I personally also loved how she didn’t stop adding character to her outfit all the way down to her shoes. Sneakers or canvas shoes can be more interesting with a pattern. Urban Outfitters has a fantastic pair of converse sneakers with a floral print. A perfect example of a casual accessory made feminine and cheeky!
